Vintage Aviator Sunglasses

If Steve McQueen stamped the Persol 714 as an authentic and appropriate pair of shades to don with one’s Ivy gear, then Paul Newman certainly did the same for Aviator sunglasses. Whilst many have debated just who exactly Paul wore, one could do far worse than these classic mid-century Cartier models when attempting the look.

These sunglasses feature a gold frame with green lens and brown ear socks.

Aviators were originally offered as an alternative to chunky pilot goggles in the 1930s, and we recommend pairing the shades with some classic militaria, such as the Firzmworks N1 Deck Jacket.
