After 70 years at the heart of British menswear, John Simons enters a new chapter with the launch of its own record label.

The first release, Ivy’s Blues, features an original composition by Giacomo Smith & Sula Trio, inspired by the bebop and modern jazz records that have soundtracked the John Simons stores for decades.

As John Simons himself says: "We always played jazz in the shops. It was part of the atmosphere. And it still is."

Ivy’s Blues is the beginning of an ongoing series celebrating the enduring relationship between style, culture and jazz, viewed through a contemporary lens.
