Navy Vintage Ivy Printed Dots Shirt

Navy Vintage Ivy Printed Dots Shirt

Inspired by the patterned shirts worn on Ivy League campuses and among audiences at the celebrated jazz festivals of Monterey and Newport, Kamakura's Vintage Ivy Shirt Printed Dots brings a little mid-century character to the traditional button down. The small-scale print has been carefully developed from the ground up, recreating the distinctive patterns that became part of the American collegiate wardrobe during the 1950s and 60s.

Made from 100% cotton broadcloth, the fabric has a fine, lightweight handle, with the printed pattern reproduced in vivid clarity. Designed to develop its own character with repeated washing and wear, the cloth gradually softens and adapts to the body, taking on a naturally worn-in quality. Traditional Ivy details include a button down collar, front placket, single chest pocket and button cuffs, making it an easy addition to a wardrobe of chinos, denim and corduroy.
