NICO II – Hove Tortoise

Delicate acetate carves the silhouette which is then given weight by the thick temples. The II is of a tall and narrow disposition, the sharp lines are balanced by the soft curvaceous brow. Inspired by the traditional Wayfarer shape, The II has a more robust stance with heavier temples and the minimal modern finish. Crafted in Veneto Northern Italy, the manufacturer nestles in the foothills of the dolomites. Manifested in BIO acetate. Always produced in limited amounts.

BIO ACETATE
Industry leader Mazzucchelli have been pioneering materials for eyewear since 1849. Adapting to our changing planet their BIO ACETATE is a traditional cellulose acetate with plasticizers of a vegetable origin. The formula is composed from predominantly renewable sources with the capability to biodegrade. Officially named M49 the material meets the prerequisites for composting set by the ISO 17088: 2012 standard.
