College Man Loafers – Black

Hailing from Monsummano Terme, in the province of Pistoia, an Italian region historic for its role in producing high quality footwear, D. Lepori was founded in the 1950’s, and focused its attention on producing high quality, moccasin style shoes. In 2023 D. Lepori continue to be family owned and maintain a focus on quality handmade shoes still produced in Italy. 

D. Lepori’s aptly named College Man Loafers are a beautiful take on the classic Beefroll Loafer. Slightly more rugged than its classic counterpart, the penny loafer, the Beefroll loafer is nonetheless a staple shoe within the Ivy Pantheon, as is evident in the popularity of Dexter’s Beefroll loafer throughout the Ivy League boom years.

Produced in a polished calfskin leather uppers with leather soles and unlined construction for ease of wear.
